David P. Chung DDS
Dr. David P. Chung was born in the Peace Country of Northwestern Alberta, Canada. He was awarded the Governor General Award prior to his university years at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Upon completion of his Bachelor of Science, he proceeded to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry and was named to the distinguished National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Omega Chapter for academic excellence. He completed his General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center and went on to successfully complete his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Lincoln Medical Center/Cornell Weill Medical College, one of New York’s busiest Level 1 Trauma Centers.
Dr. Chung is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also holds membership in the New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is currently on staff and active in residency training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Chung resides in Briarcliff Manor with his wife, Karen, and his two very active boys. He enjoys spending his time off playing hockey, hiking and camping with them. Dr. Chung is also a passionate supporter of causes related to environmental preservation and cancer research.
